Bathroom Project - 2008/09/24 13:12 We are almost done with our bathroom project. Shower doors were delivered on Monday from Mr. Showerdoor in Avon. But I am still trying to find something that could be used for shelves in the shower. Our contracter made a nitch when he tiled the walls of the shower so we could place shelves for soap, shampoo, shavers, etc.

We were thinking of tempered glass - seems like the safest. Does anyone know where we can get a custom size of glass & get it tempered? The size we need is approximately
12 7/8 X 3 3/4 (clear glass) for 3 shelves. We thought that Mr. Showerdoor or a hardware store would do it but they both refused saying it is too small to cut.

Any ideas out there?

Re:Bathroom Project - 2008/11/03 22:32 I don't know if they do what you need, but for everything glass we use

All Glass Company
19 Industrial Drive
Avon, CT 06001-2252
Phone: (860) 673-0449

Probably worth giving them a call. If they can't do it perhaps they can suggest somebody that can.
