Re:SHARE - Dorset Crossing update !!! - 2008/06/19 08:13 I wouldn't mind seeing some development in the north end of town (omg, its actually in my own back yard) but there are more choices than tatto parlors and Hooters, not that I think either of them would be allowed or want to come here. Remember, businesses are in the business of making money and they are not going to want to open in Simsbury if the demographics don't meet their needs. As for a quiki-mart, we already have that; its called Sunrise Convenience store. It doesn't sell gas, but Tim's does. What this area needs is something that isn't repetitive unless its a restaurant or 2.

As for the powers that be? I've never been a MG fan but I can't say that her predecessors acted any differently. Politician's are in the business of making false promises that will get them elected and the trend only continues. Until citizens of Simsbury speak up, whether through phone calls, letters or other methods and MG feels the heat, she has no reason to change her ways.
