I don't think the administration cares whether any dances get cancelled, proms included. It just means one less activity to schedule. I also don't think the kids are willing to give up the proms yet, not because of the great memories as much as losing the chance to be princesses for a night. Parents may not object since those dresses and tux's cost a pretty penny.
