Well, the term 420 originated at San Rafael High School, in 1971, among a group of about a dozen pot-smoking wiseacres who called themselves the Waldos, who are now pushing 50. The term was shorthand for the time of day the group would meet, at the campus statue of Louis Pasteur, to smoke pot. Intent on developing their own discreet language, they made 420 code for a time to get high, and its use spread among members of an entire generation.
So there ya go, someone's parents out there invented the term 4/20.
But I don't smoke pot and never have, so yeah 
I only went to 2 high school dances when I was in SHS (graduated in 2000) and it was mostly dirty dancing then. I wonder how bad it's gotten now...well, actually, I would rather not know!
I work at a middle school now and I always hear the 8th grade boys in the hallway or at lunch talk about "bagging" girls which I guess means hooking-up/making-out. I have a feeling they are all talk for the most part but you never know these days. There's even a couple students that I have overheard talk about smoking pot, but I know for a fact that their parents are horrible parents, so that has something to do with it (morals). Then again there's the other end of the stick. One of the high school guys that I work with after school has been dating a girl for about a year and I just found out that they've never kissed because he says it'll just lead to other things and that's not something they want right now.
BTW, what's this purse snatching? I find that quite funny!
