This is like a run away train.
And to think..I filed in SMALL CLAIMS COURT because the Simsbury Police TOLD ME that was the only path of recourse.
I had no idea that taking the lawyers to court would allow them to manipulate the system to their own benefit.
They could have opted for mediation. Again, a trial keeps matters on their uneven playing field.
Mediation would have been too nice. Almost humane and would have required a willingness to compromise.
Attorney Borrino could have offered to keep our dog in exchange for not taking my house.
Nope. She wants it all.
