Re:THORGS: LIFETIME MEMBER - 2007/08/17 11:33 Well, I just thought I'd let everyone know what I've been up to. I've been working on a movie being filmed in Torrington/Litchfield which is being directed by Campbell Scott. I am currently the Key PA (Production Assistant) which is one of the highest of the PA's on the crew. It's an intern position though so I don't get paid but you can't put a price tag on experience. I've gotten used to the 15 hour work day but had to take a day off just to catch on up some sleep.

Funny story time! My first big blunder happened yesterday. Carolyn Maccormack (actress) wanted her rental car returned to a place called Ugly Duck Rent-A-Car (the name alone should have been enough warning). It smelled of smoke and she is highly allergic. So she gave me her credit card, contract, and said there was a bag in the trunk she needed. So the office PA and I went to return it and I got back and I returned her credit card. About 30 minutes later she asked for her bag. WHOOPS! I told her I would be right back and I ran faster than I ever have...but the humidity made me feel like I must have been a chain smoker for 20 years I got to the rental place and the car was gone. I said I had left a bag in the trunk and they said to just go around back and the car was unlocked. *big sigh of relief* So I brought it back and took her to Enterprise. I guess someone let slip that I had left her bag in the car but she never said anything about it so I guess I'm safe.

Re:THORGS: LIFETIME MEMBER - 2007/08/18 10:16 Carolyn McCormack. Wasn't she on Benson and once married to Michael Keaton of Batman fame? Glad you didn't get in trouble.

Re:THORGS: LIFETIME MEMBER - 2007/08/18 17:47 I'm not sure. If I was to get in trouble I would have just walked away...it's only an unpaid internship.

Re:THORGS: LIFETIME MEMBER - 2007/08/31 22:50 Hi Thorgs, Hope everything is going well with you? I read your post the other day on the one bear in your neighborhood. Now there have been four bears hanging around between the streets over here. Heard one was even in someone's pool on Firetown Rd. Don't have a positive conformation on that though, could have been the stream that runs through the back yards, it's deep enough, and has fish!
I've been keeping busy, not that that is always a good thing, but wanted to log in to say "Hi"! Garden Girl
