THORGS: LIFETIME MEMBER - 2007/08/10 22:21 How's that, Thorgs...I'm sure you can be a lifetime member of simsbury.com no matter where you live (as long as sims.com is still here). You can be the unofficial informant to other towns you reside. Hey, I have a friend who I told to come on here and check out what's gong on in Simsbury now, even though they live in Florida and have not been here for years and years. I know I am planning to move from here one day soon myself (keeping an eye on the housing market), but my roots ARE here in Simsbury.
I think all on this forum feel we know you only too well Thorgs. We all want to be here for you the best we can, even if it is to vent, or have some comfort or familiarity as you move into your new place! BTW..Did it turn out you were moving with Dad, or on your own? GG

Re:THORGS: LIFETIME MEMBER - 2007/08/10 23:02 Well, lately I've been feeling like this --->

I've got a few places I plan on applying, but I'm not keeping my fingers crossed. I'm actually starting a non-paid internship on Monday for three weeks working on a Indie film (directed by Campbell Scott) that's taking place in Torrington (what a way to spend the last of my savings account...on gas!). I guess it's to see if I like working in the entertainment industry. If not then I think I'm going to go to Today's Tec technical school to get certified as a Network Administrator then possibly join the Air Force (or some military branch) and work for them, unless I find a job in Simsbury because for some odd reason, I love this town! Who knows though, my plans change more than I change my socks

I'm ending up going with my dad because of my job situation, but I would have loved to move out on my own.

Thanks for making me a Lifetime Member! I feel honored!

Sorry for rambling...again!

Re:THORGS: LIFETIME MEMBER - 2007/08/11 08:03 Ramble all you want...that is what the new post is here for..I thought the other one was getting way too long..we have to refresh them for you every now and then to keep up with "Thorgs life changes", I guess....I'm glad to hear you are going with your father, I think those like myself who have been seriously reading what you share were concerned for you and we can relax a bit now. At least with one step for you....You sound like a jock of all trades kinda guy. You will do just fine, I have a feeling!
p.s. now that my son moved away, I am going to have to get his friend over here to show me how to do those graphic things on the computer. I like the smile face rolling off the table. I need one with their hair all wired out like they have had a bad hair day..have one like that Thorgs, anyone? GG

Re:THORGS: LIFETIME MEMBER - 2007/08/11 10:38 Very cool to be in a movie and you know Thorgs, as bad as things seem now, they can only get better.

Re:THORGS: LIFETIME MEMBER - 2007/08/11 10:42 I do tend to talk more than I should and now everyone knows my life

If you find a smiley you like online right click on it and save it to your computer. Then open up a photobucket.com account (it's free) and upload it there. Then you can delete it from your computer. Then you can post them on this forum by using the IMG tag that photobucket gives you. You just have to change the IMG to img for it to work

Re:THORGS: LIFETIME MEMBER - 2007/08/11 12:59 Well your right Thorgs, you do let everyone know your business, maybe if you just don't name name's it'll go over OK. Hey, we don't mind, we're concerned now though, so you have to keep us somewhat informed. GG
