Wow. Have you all seen this? Not only are the federal government Democrats trying to push through one of the biggest tax hikes in history, but now the State Democrats are going for it too. Read all about it here. Excerpt:
In its first official response to Governor M. Jodi Rell's budget, the Democratic-controlled legislature is seeking to spend $650 million more than Rell over the next two years – further bursting through the state-mandated spending cap.
This is the same group of people wanted Universal Healthcare until they found out it would cost more per year than the entire state budget.
