If...Then What? - 2007/03/29 09:17 If Jodi Rell gets her way and we get a state-mandated property tax cap of 3%, what will our local town government do? Will they actually have to demonstrate fiscal responsibility and management? Yes. Read the article about the cap proposal here.

What do you all think? How would this effect (affect?) our overall attitude towards retail/commercial development in town?

This will be an interesting debate in the legislature. How do the people who vote against the cap explain to their constituents that they are simply for higher local taxes?
