I voted for Bush and now that I understand the NCLB better I have to agree with you. Even though it's supposed to be the best thing he's done in office it sure doesn't sound too great. I work closely with a lot of teachers and it seems like they loose 2-3 weeks of prepping for the CMTs (mainly math and reading/grammer) and then there's 2 weeks of CMT testing. That's a little more than a month wasted to CMT prep and tests when it could be used for something more beneficial. Oh well, I guess we just have to adjust and wait to see if it's revoked or not.
