Senator Johnson - 2006/12/16 00:41 I am quite late in posting this, but I would like all of you to continue to offer your prayers for Senator Johnson who suffered a congenital bleeding of the brain problem this week. Politics aside, I hope for the best for the Senator and his family. So far, the signs are good.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am disgusted with the news coverage of this event. The focus should be on his health and recovery and not on the politics of the situation. And I am equally disgusted with the conservatives who immediately started carping about the "balance of the Senate". This is not what is important here.

I would encourage all of you, when you are reading news accounts, to only read as far as the updates of Senator Johnson's progress. Ignore the rest and continue to hope for his complete recovery.
