EW has already proven that its not a "good neighbor or citizen" of Simsbury. My spending money to save its hiney isn't going to change that. If EW hasn't managed its money well enough to avoid this situation, then who's to say the money they get for the land isn't going to be mismanaged as well? Are we, as a town, going to continually bail them out of trouble? Bottom line; EW makes sure everyone knows its a private school . "Public" money shouldn't be used for its benefit.


btw - are the same people who are fighting so hard to save this land fighting to save the land in the north end of town from Griffin land? It is open space you know. Again I say,
Naaaa, I don't think so. EW is obviously a NIMBY issue not an open space issue.
