WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2005 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Working with Difficult People
Farmington Valley – The Simsbury Public Library’s Business Resource Center will host a workshop, “Working with Difficult People: Becoming a Master Persuader” on Wednesday, February 22nd from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The program is part of the ongoing “Wednesday Night is Business Night” free series and will be presented by Wayne Morrison of Morrison Consulting, LLC.
The workshop will draw on Neuro-Linguistic-Programming (NLP) techniques frequently used in sales situations and will apply them to workplace relationships. Attendees will learn to identify the behaviors they’ve taught themselves, how to change the way they feel about others and how to use different language styles to persuade and change the behavior and reactions of others.
Wayne Morrison has a 27-year background in sales and sales management and is a Certified NLP Master Practitioner. His former corporate positions include Business Development, Manager Director of Training, and Regional Sales Manager for Carrier Corp.; Sales Manager for Sonitrol Communications and top salesman for Southern New England Telephone.
